What a week it has been. More organization in the production area and busy days in the tasting room with lots and lots of smiles. I doesn't get any better than that!
On a less than positive note, we arrived at the shop yesterday to discover our brand new wooden doors had been tagged. It could have been worse, they only wrote the word "love" on each of the three doors.
However, I just don't understand it. I've never understood random vandalism but know it happens. Ed made a valiant attempt at removing the ink but it seems to have penetrated the sealant so we'll have to wait for warmer weather to sand and re-seal. I needed one more thing to do. :)
Excitement continues to grow in anticipation of the February opening of Ted Mishima and Francoise Weeks' collaborative project. It should be an evening to remember so please make plans to join us.We've made some nice additions to our selection of French pastries this week. We've added a fresh fruit Danish, an apple Crostata and a variety of cookies.
Besides the quality of these items being excellent, I like the fact that the Danish and Crostata are not that sweet which makes them perfect in combination with a great cup of coffee. Get them early because they've been selling out each day.
Another addition this week is that we now have stickers, in two sizes. Please help us spread the word of REAL.GOOD.COFFEE by displaying them prominently. Stickers are free!Only 9 more days before we begin opening the shop on Sundays! We've gotten really positive feedback about the decision to do this and are excited to be able to finally offer it.
Yesterday was a big roasting day so there's a lot of fresh roasted organic coffee available.
